Application Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to maintain and enhance mission‑critical software used by North American organizations. The role blends technical troubleshooting, direct customer interaction, and hands‑on coding to resolve complex application issues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, providing clear updates and explanations.
• Investigate issues by analyzing configurations, logs, code behavior, and business workflows.
• Read and understand existing codebases and documentation to identify root causes.
• Develop and deploy targeted fixes using C#/.NET and React/TypeScript in production and test environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot core application functionality, including business rules and environment‑specific settings.
• Escalate complex problems to engineering teams with full documentation.
• Review software releases, validate cloud environments, and coordinate deployments.
• Participate in rotating on‑call support for 24/7 customer assistance.
• Document issues, solutions, and knowledge to improve team efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to distinguish between configuration issues, code defects, and environment factors.
