About the role
Remote is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Legal Core Team. You will provide pragmatic legal advice across 90+ jurisdictions, help shape legal processes, and mentor junior lawyers while working fully remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality legal advice on labor and employment matters for Remote’s global HR‑tech products.
- Manage routine legal processes, knowledge‑management, and policy keeping efficiently.
- Lead complex legal projects and coordinate with specialised sub‑teams.
- Support the development of scalable legal operations that enable rapid business growth.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
Required profile
- Qualified and experienced lawyer with a strong background in labor and employment law.
- Interest in working for a tech‑scaleup, specifically in HR‑tech.
- Ability to quickly learn Remote’s internal communication and documentation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
