About the role

Genius Sports is looking for a Sportstech Technical Support Team Lead to oversee the stability and performance of its live‑data services. You will manage the day‑to‑day operations of the support team, act as the escalation point for major incidents, and foster a high‑performing, accountable culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the Sportstech Technical Support team.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring resources and priorities are aligned.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues and major incidents.
• Coach, mentor and performance‑manage team members through regular feedback and development plans.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding and scheduling to maintain team capacity.
• Identify and implement process improvements, knowledge‑sharing initiatives and efficiency gains.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business.
