IT Risk Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Risk Manager to safeguard the security and resilience of First Digital’s fintech platform. The role offers the chance to work in a fast‑growing digital‑asset company operating in the crypto and stable‑coin space, where regulatory scrutiny is increasing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Identify and assess IT risks related to information security, data privacy, technology infrastructure, and operations.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and proactive threat mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to promote risk awareness and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and create remediation plans.
• Oversee implementation of encryption protocols, access controls, and disaster recovery plans.
• Establish incident‑response procedures and coordinate with external security agencies when needed.
• Conduct periodic audits of systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of IT risk management experience in the financial industry.
• Familiarity with stable‑coin services and associated risks.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM or CRISC are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 1, SOC 2) and security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
• Understanding of GDPR, AML/KYC and other regulatory requirements.
