Senior Cloud Architect – Generative AI (Remote, EMEA)

About the role

DoiT is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to join its global Forward Deployment Engineering team. Working remotely across the UK, Ireland, Estonia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Israel and other EU locations, you will help customers design and deploy production‑grade Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions on AWS while supporting multi‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and optimisation of ML/GenAI workloads on AWS.
• Act as a trusted advisor from discovery through deployment, ensuring solutions are secure, reliable, cost‑efficient and observable.
• Translate complex business problems into scalable cloud architectures.
• Develop reusable patterns that influence DoiT’s product roadmap.
• Conduct Cloud Optimisation Sessions, cost‑efficiency workshops, security and reliability reviews.
• Provide deep‑dive technical support for high‑impact optimisation, cost, security and performance issues.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience delivering AI/ML workloads at scale in cloud environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with AWS services and awareness of multi‑cloud considerations.
• Proven ability to work directly with customers as a technical consultant.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into business value.
