Senior Cloud Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (unlimited, full‑time) to join our Business Infrastructure Platform (BIP) team in Tallinn. The BIP team is the backbone of the organisation’s infrastructure, designing, building and maintaining the platform for more than 40 teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test secure, scalable cloud solutions that meet real business needs.
• Implement and enhance platforms using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Packer.
• Deploy and maintain services including Kubernetes, HashiCorp Vault, Consul, Azure SQL Server, MongoDB Atlas and RabbitMQ.
• Create and fine‑tune monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor and New Relic.
• Produce clear documentation for internal clients to simplify usage of the platform.
• Own the full lifecycle from architecture through implementation and monitoring, presenting design decisions to the team.
• Collaborate with BIP users to improve their infrastructure implementations and ensure success.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and an Infrastructure as Code approach.
• Strong background in Azure cloud services and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Experience setting up security, monitoring and alerting solutions (Azure Monitor, New Relic, Microsoft Defender for Cloud).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerisation using Docker.
