Social Media Manager (Remote EMEA)

About the role

A fast-growing AI consumer technology company is looking for a Social Media Manager to grow its global online presence and build meaningful relationships with its community. The role covers social media strategy and execution across several platforms, including content creation, community management, creator collaboration and support of product launches and brand initiatives. It is a hands-on position combining content creation, community management and strategy, working closely with leadership and marketing teams. The position is fully remote (CET), full-time and contract, with fluent English required.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily social media activity on X, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, and run a content strategy and publishing calendar.
• Create, film, edit and publish content such as short-form videos, product demonstrations and behind-the-scenes material; represent the brand on camera.
• Manage online communities on Discord and Reddit, engage with users and support moderators.
• Monitor community conversations, gather feedback and emerging trends and share insights with product and leadership teams.
• Handle public communications during sensitive situations and respond in a timely, thoughtful way.
• Identify and collaborate with creators and influencers to expand organic reach.
• Support leadership's social media presence and create content around company initiatives and product updates.
• Track performance, engagement, audience growth and conversion metrics to improve results.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing and growing social media accounts for consumer-facing brands.
• Demonstrated experience across X, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
• A portfolio of content creation work, including videos where you appear on camera (key requirement).
• Strong video production skills, able to film, edit and publish content independently.
• Experience managing online communities on Discord, Reddit or similar.
• Excellent written and spoken English, strong communication skills and good judgment when representing a brand publicly.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Background in consumer subscription apps, AI, technology, relationships or wellbeing.
• Experience working with founders or executives on their personal brand.
• Familiarity with TikTok and emerging social platforms.
