Assistant Store Manager – Tallinn

About the role

NORMAL, a Danish retail chain with almost 1100 stores across 14 markets, is opening its first Estonian stores in Tallinn and is looking for Assistant Store Managers. You will work closely with the Store Manager to lead the store team, drive growth and sales and ensure customers have a consistent, high-quality shopping experience. The role is independent, with responsibility for sales, store standards and leadership shared with the Store Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the store team alongside the Store Manager and drive growth and sales
• Ensure customers have a unique, high-quality shopping experience every visit
• Take ownership of sales, store standards and leadership
• Work strategically with the product range so the store is always well-stocked and neatly presented

Required profile

• Retail experience in a similar role; experience in store operations and merchandising
• Fluent Estonian and comfortable communication in English
• Willingness to go abroad for training and onboarding, including 5-10 days away in a row for the first 2 months
• Ability to handle a fast-paced, dynamic day and to recognise the qualities needed for the role
