Business Analyst - Oracle Fusion ERP & EPM

About the role

The purpose of the position is to support and enhance the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM by turning business needs into effective technical solutions, ensuring data integrity and keeping system operations running smoothly. The role takes part in implementing, configuring and maintaining these systems and related IT finance applications, and works closely with business stakeholders to understand, document and analyse business processes and requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM, and coordinate system setup, configuration and user/system testing.
• Act as a bridge between SQL database administrators and business users, and execute SQL queries for data extraction, validation and troubleshooting.
• Gather business and functional requirements from finance and operational teams and turn them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop and maintain IT finance applications, and work with Business Analysts, project leads and the IT team to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide user support when needed.
• Create and maintain documentation such as user manuals, process flowcharts and functional specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• Additional studies or certifications in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration are an advantage.
• Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g. Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM, SQL) preferred.
• Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages; background in collaborating with finance and operational teams is an advantage.
• Experience with Oracle ERP (Financials) and EPM, or Oracle Cloud Services, is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced hands-on experience with SQL and proficiency in SQL.
• Programming and coding skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and finance processes.
• Strong communication skills to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
