Cloud Engineer – Tenant Automation

About the role

Riverty is looking for a Cloud Engineer (Tenant) to join its growing FinTech team. You will work from one of our hybrid locations in Germany or Estonia, helping to automate and standardise our Azure cloud platform.

Key responsibilities

• Apply and maintain Desired State Configuration (DSC) baselines and other configuration‑as‑code models across subscriptions.
• Design, develop and improve automation runbooks for cross‑team reuse.
• Deploy and manage cloud components using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform.
• Build and test reusable service configuration templates to ensure provisioning consistency.
• Operate test tenants for validation of infrastructure updates and automation pipelines.
• Collaborate with platform teams to standardise configuration formats and execution practices.
• Troubleshoot automation failures, track configuration drift and enforce compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience in the banking or FinTech domain is a plus.
• Solid understanding of software development, cybersecurity and application monitoring.
• Hands‑on experience with DSC or similar configuration‑as‑code tools.
• Familiarity with Azure automation services and tenant management.
