About the role
Join FedEx's Customs Clearance team as a Clearance Broker, supporting a temporary increase in workload caused by new EU regulatory requirements. You will work in a fast‑paced office environment, ensuring shipments clear customs smoothly and on time.
Key responsibilities
- Review shipment data to determine exact customer and regulatory requirements.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation supplied by customers.
- Use internal systems to create legally compliant clearance declarations.
- Contact customers or government agencies for clarification when needed.
- Resolve routine customer and customs disputes.
- Build effective relationships with customers and advise on the best clearance services.
- Operate within tight time frames to meet daily deadlines.
Required profile
- Native‑level proficiency in Estonian.
- Customs agent certificate.
- Experience or working knowledge of import/export processes and regulatory requirements.
- Customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to make sound numerical decisions under pressure.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with CHIEF entry system (desired)
