Customs Clearance Broker (Temporary)

About the role

Join FedEx's Customs Clearance team as a Clearance Broker, supporting a temporary increase in workload caused by new EU regulatory requirements. You will work in a fast‑paced office environment, ensuring shipments clear customs smoothly and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Review shipment data to determine exact customer and regulatory requirements.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of documentation supplied by customers.
• Use internal systems to create legally compliant clearance declarations.
• Contact customers or government agencies for clarification when needed.
• Resolve routine customer and customs disputes.
• Build effective relationships with customers and advise on the best clearance services.
• Operate within tight time frames to meet daily deadlines.

Required profile

• Native‑level proficiency in Estonian.
• Customs agent certificate.
• Experience or working knowledge of import/export processes and regulatory requirements.
• Customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to make sound numerical decisions under pressure.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with CHIEF entry system (desired)
