Data Analyst

About the role

Tickmill is seeking a Data Analyst to partner with stakeholders and product owners in order to translate business needs into data‑driven insights. You will work on large, complex datasets, creating visualisations and reports that support strategic decision‑making across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to gather business requirements.
• Analyse extensive datasets to uncover trends, patterns and actionable insights.
• Design, develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations.
• Support implementation of data‑driven solutions that improve performance and efficiency.
• Contribute to analytics projects covering product performance, client behaviour, acquisition funnels and lifecycle analysis.
• Validate data accuracy and perform quality checks.
• Work closely with the BI team to enhance reporting processes and analytical capabilities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, analytical techniques and visualisation best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related quantitative field.
• 2–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the finance/FX sector.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on accurate data interpretation.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proven experience gathering business requirements and delivering reporting solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with cohort, funnel, segmentation, retention analysis and KPI monitoring.
