Entry-Level Service Technician - Wind Turbines

About the role

Vestas, a global provider of sustainable energy solutions, is looking for an entry-level Service Technician to join its service department in the Kohtla-Järve / Kiviõli area. The Service Department maintains and services wind farms across Scandinavia, and the technician supports the maintenance and operation of wind turbines alongside a team of experienced professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
• Service and maintenance according to agreements, including checks, repairs and replacement of turbine components
• Ensure frictionless turbine operation using condition monitoring and remote control systems
• Contact customers about completed and upcoming service and repairs
• Manage the service vehicle, warehouse and orders of materials, tools and spare parts
• Produce daily reports in SAP

Required profile

• Experience or a degree in electricity, mechanics or hydraulics, with willingness to develop skills in these areas
• Hydraulic experience
• Category B (BE) driving licence
• Communicative English
• Team player, service-minded, flexible and able to work with minimal supervision; travel for training and work in nearby countries is expected
• Good physical condition, able to lift heavy loads and work at height, with high safety awareness
