Field and Integrated Marketing Manager (Remote)
Severalnines · Tallinn
Job description
About the role
Severalnines, which helps organizations run business-critical databases on infrastructure they control, is looking for a hands-on Field and Integrated Marketing Manager to build and run a connected program of conferences, local meetups, owned events, technical webinars and expert conversations. The position is 100% remote and open to candidates from around the world; it reports to the Marketing Director and works closely with Creative & Brand, Marketing Operations, Sales, Product, Engineering and Support.
Key responsibilities
- Build and run one connected program, turning company, product and market priorities into a rolling 12-month calendar with clear audience, purpose, budget and delivery plan.
- Develop a network of organizers, local hosts, technical experts, customers and partners, and assess existing community channels rather than launching new ones just to grow membership.
- Own sponsorships, venues, vendors, budgets, timelines, travel and on-site or virtual production, recruit and prepare speakers, shape agendas and run post-event reviews.
- Work with Sales and Marketing Operations to identify target accounts, invite and promote participants, and route them to technical education, product evaluation, architecture reviews, partner discovery or Sales.
- Coordinate recordings, interviews, clips and follow-up resources with Creative & Brand and subject-matter experts, and feed audience questions and feedback back to Marketing, Product and Sales.
- Track delivery, audience relevance, repeat participation, qualified conversations and opportunity contribution, maintain accurate spend forecasts and recommend where to invest more, change the approach or stop an activity.
The initial plan includes two anchor sponsored conferences, at least four secondary appearances, six local meetups, one owned half-day event, six technical webinars and six podcasts or expert conversations, refined around audience relevance, market opportunity, production capacity and budget.
Required profile
- Experience owning field, event, community or developer marketing programs in B2B software, cloud infrastructure, databases or a similar technical business, with examples of audience and commercial outcomes.
- Hands-on experience delivering in-person and virtual events, including speaker preparation, vendor coordination, budgets, promotion, production and follow-up.
- Strong relationship-building skills with communities, customers, partners and internal teams, and ability to work with local organizers across markets.
- Technical curiosity and audience empathy; does not need to be a database expert but must be comfortable learning the subject.
- Clear written and spoken English, independent project ownership and ability to coordinate across teams and time zones.
- Willingness to travel internationally and occasionally deliver events outside standard local hours.
Required skills
- Practical experience with CRM and marketing automation, webinar or event platforms and reporting.
- Ability to connect participation to follow-up and account progression and to use evidence for budget decisions.
What we offer
- B2B contract with full-time employee benefits.
- Annual bonus based on company results.
- Reimbursement budget to set up and maintain a virtual office (PC, notebook, headset, etc.).
- 4 weeks of paid vacation.
