Home-based Research Nurse for Patient Recruitment (Freelance)

About the role

We are looking for a freelance, part‑time Research Nurse to support patient recruitment for clinical trials in Estonia. Working from home, you will interview and qualify patients, refer them to appropriate research sites and help ensure a smooth journey from first contact to enrolment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephone‑based interviews to assess patients’ health data and eligibility.
• Refer eligible patients to suitable clinical trial sites.
• Collaborate with research sites, sponsors’ CRAs and internal teams.
• Support patients throughout the recruitment process, providing guidance and information.
• Coordinate with James Lind Care’s Research Nurse network across Europe.

Required profile

• Professionally trained nurse (required).
• Experience in clinical research or as a research nurse/CRA is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and motivation to guide patients.
• Independent, self‑reliant and positive mindset.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency and native‑level Estonian.
