About the role

Elektrilevi, Estonia's largest electricity distribution network, is seeking a Board Chair to lead its strategic development at a time when the role of the power grid in society is expanding rapidly. The successful candidate will guide the company through major network upgrades, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the strategic renewal of Elektrilevi’s electricity network, balancing supply reliability, investment needs and service pricing.
• Shape the company into an innovative, technology‑ready operator that enables the future energy system.
• Enhance the resilience and preparedness of critical infrastructure for security and energy‑environment changes.
• Improve capital efficiency and operational performance within a regulated business model.
• Build a data‑driven, high‑performance organization capable of delivering large‑scale change while maintaining stakeholder trust.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in energy, business management or a related field.
• Minimum five years of senior executive experience in a large enterprise, preferably in a capital‑intensive or regulated sector.
• Proven track record of leading strategic transformations and making complex decisions.
