Mapping Vehicle Operator – Part-Time

About the role

Bolt is looking for a part-time Mapping Vehicle Operator to drive assigned routes in the city, observe the vehicle and its equipment, and report issues or anomalies. The role helps build a reliable foundation for future operations. It is a part-time position of 24 hours per week: 8 hours on Saturday, 8 hours on Sunday and 8 hours during one weekday.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the vehicle on assigned routes, following route instructions accurately and navigating through different city areas
• Monitor the vehicle and report any unusual behaviour or observations
• Use a tablet or mobile app to log completed routes and basic findings
• Perform simple vehicle readiness checks (charging, cleanliness, equipment)
• Communicate any safety or operational concerns to the project team

Required profile

• Valid B-category driving licence and safe, responsible driving habits
• Previous experience as a fleet manager, driving instructor or professional driver
• Strong sense of direction, confident reading maps and comfortable using mobile apps
• Good attention to detail, reliability and comfort working independently in the field
• Fluency in English for daily communication and reporting
