Senior Accountant - Crypto Payment Group

About the role

Coinspaid Solutions, a fintech company building blockchain payment infrastructure, is looking for an External Accounting Specialist (titled Senior Accountant in the listing) to provide full-cycle accounting and reporting support for an initial portfolio of 3-4 legal entities, within an international group of 10-12 entities. The role is fully remote and involves coordinating outsourced accounting providers, overseeing month-end and year-end closing, reviewing reconciliations and supporting audits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full-cycle accounting and reporting support for the assigned legal entities.
• Act as the main contact for external bookkeepers, accounting firms, auditors, banks and corporate service providers, ensuring timely exchange of data, bank statements, invoices and corporate documents.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing and ensure external providers deliver complete, accurate reports on time.
• Review monthly reporting packages (trial balance, Balance Sheet, P&L, general ledger and schedules).
• Perform and later approve bank, crypto, HLB, intercompany, AP, AR and other balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Keep accounting records complete, accurate, documented and audit-ready.
• Support statutory and group audits, including schedules, documents, reconciliations and auditor responses.
• Help automate accounting processes such as data imports, transaction classification, reconciliations, reporting and financial controls, and document completed solutions for rollout across the group's crypto entities.
• Act as backup for the manager when needed.

Required profile

• Education in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, month-end and year-end closing, and reviewing trial balances, balance sheets, P&L and general ledger.
• Strong experience with bank, AP, AR, intercompany and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Ability to set up accounting processes from scratch and restore incomplete records.
• Experience coordinating outsourced accounting providers and external auditors.
• Ability to work independently, manage several legal entities and meet reporting deadlines.
• Nice to have: crypto/fintech background, crypto wallet reconciliation, QuickBooks or 1C, AI tools for accounting, multi-jurisdiction experience, statutory/group audit and intercompany loan experience.
