Senior Analytics Engineer – People Analytics

About the role

As a Senior Analytics Engineer in the People Analytics team, you will design, build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers workforce insights across Bolt. You will enable headcount planning, hiring, attrition, absence and compensation analytics, and lay the foundation for conversational AI‑driven queries on people data.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with people analysts, business partners and finance to define and prioritize the analytics engineering roadmap.
• Develop, expand and maintain reusable data models and metrics in the semantic layer using dbt, covering the full employee lifecycle.
• Implement data quality monitoring and alerting to ensure clean, well‑documented data for dashboards and LLM‑based tools.
• Connect HRIS, ATS, planning and other HR systems to a modern analytics stack, acting as the bridge between data producers and consumers.
• Build the data foundation required for AI‑enabled conversational analytics on people data.

Required profile

• Several years of experience building data pipelines and semantic layers in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong understanding of HR data domains (headcount, recruitment, attrition, compensation, absence).
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Proactive attitude with ownership of end‑to‑end data delivery.
