Senior CloudOps Engineer

About the role

Wrike is looking for a Senior CloudOps Engineer to support and evolve its cloud and data‑center infrastructure with a strong security focus. You will work with containers, networking, monitoring, automation and debugging of a complex platform, defining work based on team OKRs and driving improvements alongside architects and tech leads.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the reliability, stability and efficiency of the platform.
• Automate routine tasks and implement new infrastructure services.
• Improve the configuration‑management platform.
• Participate in incident response, including on‑call duties.
• Lead end‑to‑end projects such as Kafka implementation, internal DB management and command‑and‑control systems.
• Collaborate with an international team across Prague, Cyprus and Tallinn.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge in at least four areas: data networks, security, databases, cloud providers, process automation, containerised application management.
• Strong Linux administration experience for highly available web‑application stacks.
• Proficiency with software load balancers (Nginx, HAProxy, Envoy/Istio).
• Solid scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (Terraform) and major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
