Senior GameDev Engineer (C++)

About the role

Join the PLUMMY team as a Senior GameDev Engineer to shape the live mobile title Star Merge. You will work on gameplay features, technical systems, performance improvements, and SDK integrations using C++ in a remote‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain gameplay features and technical systems in C++.
• Optimize mobile performance and stability (ANRs, crashes, memory usage, build size).
• Integrate and maintain third‑party SDKs such as ads, analytics, crash reporting, and customer support.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues, including hard‑to‑reproduce bugs.
• Collaborate with designers, analysts, UA, QA, and other developers from concept to release.
• Contribute to architecture, code quality, and tooling improvements.
• Own tasks through testing and release support.

Required profile

• 4+ years of C++ development experience on Android/iOS mobile games.
• Background in casual mobile genres (merge, match‑2/3, farming, city‑building).
• Experience with in‑house or popular game engines (Unity, Godot, Cocos2dx, Unreal Engine, etc.).
• Proven ability to debug crashes, memory leaks, and performance problems.
• Hands‑on experience integrating ad, analytics, and crash‑reporting SDKs.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and focus on production stability.
• Enthusiasm for AI applications in daily work.
• Comfortable working remotely and communicating fluently in English.
