Software Tester - Mobile Banking Applications

About the role

SEB, a northern European financial services group, has a Mobile Business Application team that designs, develops and enhances mobile banking apps used daily by thousands of customers. As a Software Tester you will test mobile app features against business, functional and usability requirements, working with business developers, analysts, product owners and backend teams in an Agile, feature-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Test mobile application features and design and run test scenarios for new features, enhancements and bug fixes
• Clarify requirements and acceptance criteria with business developers, analysts and product owners
• Perform manual testing across devices and platforms, and document and track defects
• Support regression testing so existing functionality stays stable after new releases
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and contribute to feature planning and delivery quality
• Ensure testing follows banking standards, security requirements and internal quality guidelines
• Automate test collections to scale feature launches

Required profile

• Experience as a Software Tester or QA Engineer, preferably with mobile applications
• Experience applying AI solutions for QA processes
• Understanding of Agile and feature-based delivery
• Ability to turn business requirements into test cases
• Attention to detail, good communication with technical and business stakeholders, and good written and spoken English
• Nice to have: banking or regulated industry experience, mobile test automation, API testing or backend integration experience, and Playwright or similar automation platforms
