Senior Technical Trainer - AI / DevOps

About the role

A partner company, represented by Jobgether, is looking for a Senior Technical Trainer based in Estonia who combines hands-on DevOps expertise with a passion for teaching. You will design practical courses on AI-powered engineering workflows, helping engineers apply AI agents, coding assistants and modern AI tools to real infrastructure and automation challenges. The role starts with a paid course project of about three months, with possible ongoing projects or a full-time position, and is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop technical courses, working with the curriculum team on structure, learning objectives, lesson sequences and hands-on labs focused on AI for DevOps.
• Create video scripts and narrate lessons in English, keeping them concise and story-driven (about six minutes each).
• Write detailed specifications for hands-on labs, test them, validate technical accuracy and record demonstrations and walkthroughs.
• Work with production teams on editorial feedback and quality, while they handle video editing, animation, lab infrastructure and publishing.

Required profile

• Hands-on DevOps and infrastructure experience, with a track record of building, operating and maintaining infrastructure.
• Current practical experience with AI tools such as AI agents, coding assistants and LLM-based automation.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching, such as creating courses, tutorials, talks or workshops, mentoring or sharing knowledge with a community.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong storytelling and empathy for learners.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and collaborate remotely with a distributed team.

Required skills

• Linux, containers, Kubernetes, at least one major cloud platform, CI/CD and infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Experience with AI tools in engineering work
• Advantages: online courses on Udemy or Pluralsight, conference speaking, community roles (e.g. CNCF Ambassador, AWS Community Builder, Microsoft MVP), Kubernetes or cloud certifications
