Software Engineer (Java)

About the role

Join Luminor's Anti-Financial Crime & Compliance team as a Software Engineer focused on Java development. You will design, build, and maintain cloud‑native applications that support the bank’s fight against financial crime, working in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect cloud‑native software solutions.
• Develop and maintain complex Java applications using Spring, Spring Boot, and WebFlux.
• Write technical specifications, data models, and documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and performance analysis.
• Maintain and extend automation frameworks for efficient testing cycles.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Java 21+ and related frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot 3.0+, Spring WebFlux).
• Proficiency with build and CI tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka, AWS S3 file processing, and XML parsing/validation.
• Ability to address technical debt, write clean code, and automate tests.
• Fluent written and spoken English for Pan‑Baltic collaboration.
