Tools Specialist – Mold Maintenance Technician

About the role

AQUAPHOR International is seeking an experienced Toolmaker / Mold Maintenance Technician to join its manufacturing team in Estonia. The role focuses on repairing, servicing and maintaining injection molds to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, service, and maintain injection molds, including cold and hot runner systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure molds are production‑ready.
• Diagnose mold and tooling issues and carry out necessary repairs.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble molds and their components.
• Support mold trials and troubleshoot mold‑related problems in production.

Required profile

• Technical or vocational education in toolmaking, machining, mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with toolmaking, mold assembly, maintenance, or injection mold repair.
• Good understanding of injection mold construction, components, mechanisms and operating principles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for molds and tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
