About the role
Onoff is scaling its Tallinn team and is looking for mid-level and mid-senior Java engineers to build and scale high-availability backend systems for a global communication platform. The work covers core systems powering next-generation telecom SaaS, with ownership from idea through production.
Key responsibilities
- Build and scale high-availability backend systems for a global communication platform
- Design fast, secure APIs and infrastructure
- Mentor others while staying hands-on
- Collaborate across product, design and engineering to ship solutions
- Own work end-to-end, from idea to production
Required profile
- Strong Java expertise, with clean, efficient, production-grade code
- A leadership mindset that elevates others and challenges the status quo
- Sharp problem-solving and product thinking
- Startup energy: moves fast and adapts quickly
