Java Engineer – Backend Platform Team

About the role

Finnplay Technologies Oy, a Finnish software developer of iGaming platforms since over 15 years, is looking for a Java Engineer to join its Platform team and work on web-based system projects. The role can be based in Tallinn, Estonia or Espoo, Finland, with at least two office visits per week expected. The salary is 4,000–5,000 EUR gross per month.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Java applications.
• Write well-designed, efficient and testable code.
• Carry out software analysis, programming, testing and debugging.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
• At least 3 years of solid Java backend development experience.
• Experience developing web-based systems.
• Understanding of OOP concepts and patterns.
• Excellent English communication skills.
