Senior Business Analyst, Ads & Monetization

About the role

Bolt Ads covers Merchant Ads and Brand Ads, and its strategic choices on country prioritisation and pricing depend on rigorous analysis. The Senior Business Analyst owns the monetisation analytics function, builds and evolves KPI frameworks and dashboards, sets targets across markets and acts as the analytical partner for commercial and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monetisation analytics function and build and evolve KPI frameworks, dashboards and analytical infrastructure used to drive revenue decisions across markets.
• Build and maintain revenue forecast models, set targets across markets and track forecast accuracy against plan.
• Translate business questions into structured analysis and findings into commercial action, working with Account Managers, General Managers, Product and Engineering.
• Solve ambiguous commercial problems by breaking them into hypotheses, running the analysis and delivering recommendations with a clear "so what".
• Proactively surface revenue opportunities, underperforming segments, untapped markets, pricing inefficiencies and adoption gaps, and work with commercial teams to capture them.
• Build scalable, self-serve reporting and partner with data engineering to automate manual workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence or commercial analytics in marketplace, e-commerce, digital advertising or other data-intensive environments.
• Proven track record of building forecasting models and choosing the right analytical approach, with clear communication of methodology, assumptions and trade-offs.
• Strong problem-structuring skills and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, presenting insights to senior leadership.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL, including CTEs, window functions, multi-table joins and cohort analysis.
• Data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau or Metabase.
