Senior Software Engineer (iOS)

About the role

Luminor, the leading independent bank in the Baltics, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (iOS) for its Mobile Engineering team. You will build and evolve secure, scalable and user-centric mobile experiences, help shape the technical direction of the iOS platform and deliver new features for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile solutions and take part in designing, developing and maintaining complex software systems
• Ship new features and enhancements that meet user needs and performance standards
• Debug and resolve issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions quickly
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and stability
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn technical requirements into quality solutions
• Maintain and improve performance, security and scalability of the mobile app
• Create and maintain technical documentation and identify and mitigate technical risks

Required profile

• Proven track record of developing and deploying mobile applications
• Fluent English, spoken and written, because the role works on a Pan-Baltic level; the employer looks mainly for candidates already located in the Baltics

• UIKit and SwiftUI
• MVVM and Combine
• XCFrameworks and Swift Package Manager
• Agile methodology and modular, scalable architecture
• CI/CD pipeline maintenance
• Unit, integration and functional testing, and secure data storage

What we offer

• Gross salary of 3,540 to 5,320 EUR per month, depending on experience and competencies
• Flexible hours, hybrid work and the option to work from anywhere in the EU, Iceland, Switzerland and the UK (up to 90 days per year)
