Accounts Payable Intern

About the role

Hitachi Energy invites applications for an Accounts Payable Intern within its Common Shared Services team. The intern supports daily accounts payable operations and gains hands-on experience with financial processes in an international environment, including invoice processing, financial data and reporting. The role offers a structured learning environment to develop accounting and analytical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Support the processing of vendor invoices and accounts payable transactions
• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information
• Assist with preparing reports and supporting documentation
• Participate in internal control activities and testing
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners
• Maintain accuracy, reliability and attention to detail in daily tasks

Required profile

• Studying or having a background in accounting, finance or a related field
• Clear written and spoken English
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Team player who enjoys collaboration
• Motivated to learn in a structured environment

Required skills

• Experience using the Microsoft Office suite
