Associate Partner – Funding

About the role

Civitta is seeking an Associate Partner to lead the growth of its EU funding business in Estonia. You will work with founders, international partners and innovative companies across green tech, AI, circular economy and digital transformation, helping them secure EU and national grants.

Key responsibilities

• Build and expand the EU funding pipeline by designing and executing a sales strategy.
• Create and nurture long‑term client relationships.
• Develop and manage proposals for EU‑funded programmes such as Horizon Europe, EIC Accelerator and other structural funds.
• Provide advisory services throughout project implementation.
• Recruit, mentor and lead a high‑performing team of funding professionals.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in EU funding and grant acquisition.
• Proven ability to generate and manage a strong sales pipeline.
• Leadership potential to build and develop collaborative teams.
• Self‑starter with strong autonomy in handling multiple complex projects.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Estonian.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of EU funding programmes (e.g., Horizon Europe, EIC Accelerator, EU structural funds).
• Expertise in preparing grant proposals and advisory services.
• Sales pipeline development.
• Team leadership and mentorship.
