Atlassian Platform Engineer

About the role

This hybrid senior position combines system administration and software engineering to design, configure, secure, and extend LHV's enterprise Atlassian Cloud ecosystem. You will build custom integrations, automate cross‑functional workflows, and connect Atlassian tools directly to core infrastructure using the latest developer frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a scalable, highly available, and secure Atlassian Cloud environment.
• Develop custom apps, plugins, and automations with Atlassian Forge to link Jira and Confluence to external systems such as AWS, Slack, and HR platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into advanced automated workflows.
• Establish and enforce best practices for configuration, permissions, access controls, and security compliance.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor, mentoring colleagues and helping teams maximize platform value.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, enterprise‑level Atlassian setups, directory synchronisations, and advanced workflows.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java with a track record of building custom APIs and using webhooks.
• Background or strong interest in cloud architecture (AWS) and integrating disparate enterprise platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
• Estonian language proficiency is preferred.
