Commissioning Engineer – Automatic Transfer Switches

About the role

We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer specialized in Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and Low Voltage systems to support Schneider Electric customers across Europe. You will deliver on‑site services, including commissioning, diagnostics, installation support, troubleshooting and customer training for complex power installation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform startup and commissioning of ATS and Low Voltage product ranges.
• Evaluate unit and system installations for quality, connections, and readiness.
• Conduct on‑site adjustments to optimise equipment performance.
• Support customers with installation, modification, repair and root‑cause analysis of failures.
• Collaborate with Schneider Electric service engineers, partners and L3 support during site interventions.
• Provide training to customers on equipment operation.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance for ATS and Low Voltage systems.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in electrical engineering or power systems (diploma or bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• Approximately 5 years of experience in commissioning, field service or troubleshooting of power installations.
• Hands‑on experience with ATS, Low Voltage cabinets, UPS‑related systems; data‑center experience is a plus.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electronic circuitry at component level (advantage).
• Fluent English communication (minimum B2 level).
