Credit Risk Manager

About the role

As a Credit Risk Manager at Luminor, you will lead the identification, assessment, and management of credit risks across retail and small‑business lending portfolios. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure risk appetite aligns with business growth while maintaining high‑quality reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and manage credit risks in retail and SME lending portfolios.
• Monitor portfolio performance and credit‑risk metrics, recommending actions to meet risk appetite and business targets.
• Design, automate, document, and continuously improve credit‑risk reporting, analytics, and governance processes.
• Oversee credit‑risk tool performance and drive data‑driven improvements in risk rules, affordability, and offer calculations.
• Provide requirements for lending automation projects and translate business needs into technical system specifications.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in credit risk management within retail banking or SME lending.
• Strong background in credit policy, risk modeling, or automated decision systems.
• Higher degree in economics, finance, business management, statistics, or data science.
• Fluent in English and the local language for Pan‑Baltic collaboration.
