Entry-Level GEO Specialist

About the role

LBC Mortgage is hiring an entry-level GEO Specialist. This is a hands-on, learn-fast role: you do not need years of GEO experience, but you should be interested in AI tools, follow a plan, test new ideas weekly and track what works. As more people ask AI assistants for recommendations instead of searching Google, you will make sure the brand is visible, accurate and trusted across the platforms these AI engines and map services rely on.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, verify and maintain business profiles on Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, LinkedIn, Yelp, Facebook, Trustpilot, Nextdoor, Foursquare and YellowPages
• Keep the business name, address and phone number (NAP) identical across all listings and audit regularly for inconsistencies
• Write clear, conversational business descriptions and profile content that match how people phrase questions to AI assistants
• Take part genuinely in communities such as Reddit and Quora, answering questions and representing the brand transparently
• Encourage and manage customer reviews on Google, Yelp and Trustpilot, and respond to reviews professionally
• Use ChatGPT and other AI tools to draft content, research questions people ask and speed up routine work
• Track where and how the brand appears in AI-generated answers and local search results, and report on progress monthly
• Support basic SEO tasks such as updating website content and keywords as directed

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, social media or content, or a strong portfolio showing similar work
• Excellent written English and the ability to write naturally for different audiences
• Strong attention to detail, especially with data consistency across platforms
• Familiarity with Reddit and Quora community norms
• Nice to have: experience with Google Business Profile or local SEO, and interest in how AI search is changing digital marketing

Required skills

• Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity in daily work
• Nice to have: basic knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush or Ahrefs
