Freelance Full-Stack Developer - Django, Python & LLM Integration

About the role

A partner company, represented through a recruiter, is looking for a freelance full-stack developer based in Estonia to contribute to an evolving AI-powered product at the intersection of artificial intelligence and marketing intelligence. You will build and enhance full-stack features with Python and Django, integrating large language models and third-party APIs. The engagement is fully remote, part-time, with about 60 hours per month, and you will work with a small, experienced team.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and extend full-stack features, mainly with Django and Python, and develop lightweight frontend interfaces with HTMX, Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Integrate third-party APIs, AI services and LLM providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and OpenRouter.
• Connect marketing data sources and incorporate relevant data into the product.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code and contribute to a well-structured codebase.
• Use modern AI-assisted development tools and workflows while keeping strong engineering standards.
• Manage your workload independently, communicate progress clearly and help shape product decisions.

Required profile

• At least five years of hands-on full-stack development experience, preferably with Django.
• Experience building AI-powered applications with tools such as LangChain, LangSmith, OpenAI, OpenRouter or Anthropic APIs.
• Strong written and spoken English; German is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and communicate clearly.

Required skills

• Python and Django, with a proven track record of shipping production-ready products.
• Docker and Git.
• Familiarity with AI development tools such as Cursor, Codex and Claude Code.
• Experience with GCP, Azure, CI/CD or DevOps pipelines is a plus; frontend skills and UI sense are advantageous.
