Product Owner – System Analysis

About the role

Nortal, a digital transformation company serving global enterprises and public sector organisations, is looking for a Product Owner who can bring structure to ambiguity and help teams focus on what matters. The role combines stakeholder work with hands-on system analysis, using UML, process modelling and specifications to guide the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder interviews, examine current processes and uncover real user and business needs.
• Carry out system analysis covering system behaviour, data flows, integrations and dependencies.
• Translate findings into feasible product solutions that balance expectations with real-world constraints.
• Build and maintain As-Is/To-Be flows, UML diagrams, data-flow models and specifications.
• Own and prioritise the backlog, refine the scope, track progress and keep everyone aligned.
• Act as the go-to person for questions, handle change requests and measure success against clear goals.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience as a Product Owner or System Analyst.
• Proven hands-on system analysis, including UML, process modelling, prototyping and functional/technical specifications.
• Good balance of product vision and attention to detail in analysis and documentation.
• Skilled at managing goals, timelines and expectations in complex environments.
• Excellent communication skills in Estonian and English.

• Salary depending on level: junior €2,300–2,900, mid €3,100–3,800, senior €3,800–5,000 gross per month (full-time).
