About the role
Join Luminor as Head of Treasury Front Office, leading a team of Treasury Market Dealers and overseeing the execution of the bank’s bond investment, short‑term liquidity and risk‑management strategy. You will be responsible for directing dealing and investment activities across fixed income, FX, interest‑rate derivatives, central bank reserves and nostro products.
Key responsibilities
- Lead Treasury Front Office activities and manage a small team of Treasury Market Dealers, ensuring clear priorities, high‑quality execution and continuous professional development.
- Oversee bond portfolio management, including investment decisions, allocation, liquidity considerations, yield and spread monitoring, and alignment with internal limits and strategy.
- Execute and supervise market transactions such as FX, money‑market instruments, interest‑rate swaps, repos and other instruments used for liquidity, funding and risk management.
- Manage Luminor’s participation in central‑bank market operations, ensuring operational readiness, collateral optimisation and internal coordination.
- Support hedge‑accounting processes, understanding valuation, documentation, effectiveness and cross‑departmental P&L impacts.
- Act as Product Owner for Treasury Front Office products, driving business, process, system and control developments with relevant stakeholders.
- Lead or contribute to Treasury projects and cross‑departmental initiatives, maintaining strong liaison with Risk, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Legal, Compliance, IT and other functions.
- Ensure all front‑office activities comply with approved mandates, internal limits, policies, procedures, regulatory expectations and sound market practice.
- Utilise Bloomberg and other trading, settlement and market‑information platforms to support execution, valuation, analysis and decision‑making.
Required profile
- Experienced Treasury front‑office professional with a proven track record of managing market‑dealer teams.
- Strong knowledge of fixed‑income, FX, interest‑rate derivatives, central‑bank reserves and nostro products.
- Demonstrated ability to make investment decisions, manage liquidity and oversee risk‑management strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across Risk, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Legal, Compliance and IT.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Bloomberg terminal and related trading platforms.
