Mobile Application Developer (iOS)

About the role

Tickmill, a multi-regulated broker founded in 2014 and employing over 330 people across offices in London, Cyprus, Poland, Estonia and Seychelles, is hiring a Mobile Application Developer (iOS) in Tallinn. You will work closely with the Core Development Team and Product Management Team to build high-quality mobile applications, solve technical problems and meet functionality requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Ensure performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to define, design and ship new features
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs and help maintain code quality, organization and automation
• Stay up to date with new mobile technology trends, applications and protocols

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in iOS development in Objective-C or Swift
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation
• Experience integrating mobile apps to server-side systems via RESTful APIs
• Good understanding of the iOS release cycle and familiarity with CI/CD
• Familiarity with mobile product and design lifecycles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficient English
• A plus: agile development experience and experience in the financial markets industry

• Testing tools and code versioning tools
