Payment Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Payment Specialist to join our Implementation team in Tallinn. You will help fintech and banking clients successfully adopt Tuum’s next‑generation core banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Work as part of the Implementation team to successfully implement Tuum’s solution for our customers.
• Gather and assess customer business requirements and map them against Tuum’s platform functionality.
• Manage customer onboarding by demonstrating features and delivering trainings and workshops.
• Set up and configure platform parameters based on customer needs.
• Perform validation and functional testing in customer environments to ensure smooth payment flows.
• Provide operational support and consultancy after go‑live.
• Translate client product demands into user stories and submit change requests to product development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the customer journey.
• Create and maintain documentation and training materials.
• Stay up‑to‑date with platform releases, payment scheme developments, and industry best practices.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in a junior technical, business analysis, or operational support role within fintech, banking, or IT consulting.
• Basic understanding of payment processing concepts and messaging formats such as SEPA, SWIFT, and ISO standards.
• Comfort reading RESTful API documentation (JSON) and using tools like Postman for troubleshooting.
• Foundational knowledge of databases and SQL for log lookup and simple queries.
• Strong time‑management, attention to detail, and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to learn the Tuum core platform and core banking technologies.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a collaborative, customer‑oriented approach.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
