Production Supervisor

About the role

Join Kemira's AS Kemivesi team as a Production Supervisor, overseeing safe and efficient operations at our coagulant plant in Rae vald, Estonia. You will lead a small, experienced crew, balance office duties with hands‑on plant work, and contribute to environmental, health, safety, quality and maintenance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring safe, environmentally responsible, and efficient plant operations in collaboration with your team.
• Leading and supporting a small, experienced team and occasionally stepping in to support operator tasks.
• Coordinating and managing the work of external contractors.
• Balancing office routines with hands‑on participation in plant operations and maintenance.
• Engaging in environmental, health and safety, planning, quality, and maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Education and/or experience in process, electrical, or mechanical operations; supervisory experience is a plus.
• Commitment to safety, responsibility, and collaborative problem‑solving.
• Openness to learning, adaptability, and a positive approach to teamwork.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Estonian and English; additional languages such as Finnish are welcome.
• Motivation to grow and develop expertise in the chemical industry.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP or similar computerized production and maintenance management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
