About the role
Join Wise’s Quality Assurance team to lead a high‑performing group that safeguards payment operations. You will provide independent assurance, spot risks, close control gaps, and turn insights into practical improvements that keep customers safe and enhance their experience.
Key responsibilities
- Lead by example, fostering a proactive risk and compliance mindset across the team and organization.
- Coach, develop, and manage a strong QA team through regular one‑on‑ones, performance reviews, and skill‑building initiatives.
- Own operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive automation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with central functions to refine standard operating procedures and scale quality assurance delivery.
- Monitor resource allocation and ensure the team provides reliable, high‑quality QA outputs.
Required profile
- Proven experience in the payments domain with end‑to‑end knowledge of money movement.
- Deep familiarity with pay‑in/pay‑out processes across multiple methods and rails.
- Solid understanding of reconciliation, settlement, and transaction matching.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve payment issues such as failures, refunds, and chargebacks while balancing speed and accuracy.
- Strong judgment, data‑driven decision making, and the capacity to communicate insights clearly.
