Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Wise is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to partner with operational teams and drive data‑driven decisions that support the rapid growth of its global payments platform. You will own analytics initiatives that improve capacity planning, forecasting, and the overall health of the KYC/FinCrime function.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine analytical models for strategic capacity planning and forecasting.
• Own and maintain data pipelines to ensure reliable, accurate data flow.
• Build predictive models and conduct cause‑and‑effect analyses to optimise processes.
• Provide insights on operational health, cost analysis, and quality metrics for KYC/FinCrime.
• Monitor performance of strategic initiatives and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Lead the creation of an operations KPI tree and target‑setting framework.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to standardise forecasting, scheduling, and real‑time operations processes.

Required profile

• Strong quantitative background, preferably in statistics, mathematics, or physics.
• Proven experience in analytical modelling, forecasting, and data pipeline ownership.
• Ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business decisions.
• Excellent collaboration skills with operational leads, workforce management, and quality teams.
