Senior Data Engineer (Markets and Wealth Unit)

About the role

Join Luminor as a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and evolve enterprise‑scale data solutions for the Markets and Wealth Unit. You will work with modern data engineering practices, contribute to Data Lakehouse platforms, and shape the future of our cloud‑native data ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and own end‑to‑end data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and scalable data products.
• Lead the design and continuous evolution of Data Lakehouse architectures using AWS services and open table formats.
• Develop and operate large‑scale data processing solutions with Apache Spark on AWS EMR.
• Orchestrate complex workflows using Apache Airflow and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Implement and maintain cloud‑native data lakes with AWS Glue, Apache Iceberg, Parquet, and object storage.
• Enable analytical access via Amazon Athena and support downstream reporting in Power BI.

Required profile

• Strong experience in enterprise‑scale data engineering and advanced SQL skills.
• Hands‑on experience with modern Data Lakehouse or cloud‑native platforms and AWS data services.
• Proven ability to design reliable, scalable data pipelines and solve performance and data quality challenges.
• Fluent English communication and ability to lead technical discussions.

• Gross salary €3,700‑€5,900 per month, based on experience.
