Senior Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Finance team at Veriff is looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to take end-to-end ownership of procurement. The role reports directly to the VP of Finance and partners with Legal, Compliance, IT and global internal leaders to optimise spend, safeguard contractual commitments and build a strong procurement ecosystem. It is a standalone, high-visibility position.

Veriff is moving its vendor and contract intake to Omnea, and needs an experienced commercial driver to streamline approvals, remove tool sprawl, audit contracts and lead vendor negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• In the first 3 months: take full administrative ownership of Omnea, set up intake and approval flows for new supplier requests, audit existing vendor contracts and map terms, spend, renewal dates and business owners into a central database, and draft and roll out the baseline Procurement Policy and internal guidelines.
• By 6 months: deliver cost savings and contract right-sizing on major renewals and new tool purchases, run a reliable vendor onboarding cadence with Legal, Security and Accounts Payable, and deploy spend and savings dashboards for Finance leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing or vendor management experience.
• Proven track record leading commercial contract negotiations (pricing, SLAs, terms) with quantifiable savings.
• Strong partnership skills with Legal, Compliance and Finance (FP&A/AP).
• Excellent English, able to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
• Nice to have: experience in high-growth SaaS, fintech or tech environments, knowledge of EU vendor compliance, data privacy or Telema systems.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience configuring or managing modern procurement/intake platforms such as Omnea, Coupa or Zip, and contract repositories.
