Corporate Finance Associate

About the role

METCAP is a private capital and markets firm in Tallinn whose Corporate Finance arm handles AI operations, finance function set-up, investor materials and capital raises for European companies, as well as larger bond issues, structured funding and securitisations. The role runs deals and client projects end to end, from first data request to signing, with senior cover from the founder and technical cover from the engineering team and delivery partners.

Key responsibilities

• Run the full transaction process: scoping, modelling, information memorandum, data room, lender and investor outreach, term sheet comparison and documentation to signing.
• Handle standard mandates such as AI operations installs, management accounts and cash forecasting, IFRS 9 provisioning and three-statement models.
• Work on larger mandates including bond issues, warehouse and senior facilities, securitisation and structured funding, and equity rounds with licensed placement partners.
• Own your daily client calls; the founder joins for opening and closing.
• Help build the production engine with engineering: templates, agents and quality control.

Required profile

• 0-4 years in investment banking, corporate finance, debt advisory, transaction services, treasury, consulting or audit; fresh graduates with the right drive are welcome.
• Super energetic, fast learner who wants responsibility early and is judged on outcomes.
• Strong on numbers and structure, comfortable with a model and a term sheet.
• Uses AI tools daily and prefers building a business to joining one.
• Fluent English; other European languages are a plus.
