KYC Due Diligence Specialist (KYB)

About the role

Wallester, a FinTech company that provides white-label card issuance platforms and card integration for businesses, is looking for a KYC Due Diligence Specialist to join its ODD team. The role owns the end-to-end due diligence for institutional customers, including KYB legal entities, partners and respondent institutions, from onboarding through periodic reviews. It is a full-time, permanent position based on site 5 days a week in Tallinn.

Key responsibilities

• Review onboarding applications and make risk-based decisions to approve or reject customers
• Run periodic and event-driven reassessments, including ongoing KYB data updates
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on higher-risk relationships
• Monitor customer behaviour and transaction activity to spot unusual or suspicious patterns, and gather additional information or documentation where needed
• Perform sanctions, PEP and adverse media screening
• Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and escalate compliance issues, risks and findings to the Compliance Manager in a timely, structured way
• Help build, improve and implement internal compliance procedures and best practices as the company scales

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in AML/CTF compliance, risk management or due diligence, ideally in financial services, fintech or payments
• Deep knowledge of KYB, CDD and EDD processes for legal entities and institutional clients
• EU and Estonian AML/CTF regulatory framework knowledge
• Full professional English; Russian and Estonian is an advantage
• On-site 5 days, full time, permanent
