EHS Manager – Nordic Region

About the role

Join Siemens Energy as an EHS Manager within Grid Technologies Service, responsible for driving Environmental, Health, and Safety excellence across the Nordic region. You will lead initiatives that ensure regulatory compliance, foster a strong safety culture, and support the company’s sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain EHS programs, policies and procedures aligned with local legislation and Siemens Energy standards.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance across the Nordic region.
• Lead investigations of incidents and near‑misses, perform root‑cause analyses and track corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training, promote competency development and embed a proactive safety culture.
• Serve as the primary EHS contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities, integrating EHS requirements into daily operations and projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Significant experience in EHS management within industrial, energy, engineering, construction or field‑service environments.
• Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, risk management and incident investigation methodologies.
• Preferred certifications: CSP, CIH or NEBOSH Diploma.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
