Finance Specialist

About the role

Ayvens is looking for a Finance Specialist to join its Tallinn office and support the company’s sustainable mobility initiatives. You will work with large financial datasets, ensure accurate reporting, and help drive data‑based decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial databases, guaranteeing accurate data entry and verification.
• Support monthly financial reporting and assist with month‑end closing activities.
• Monitor financial performance, including variances, receivables, and cash flow.
• Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
• Analyse accounting data for accuracy and compliance with group requirements.
• Develop and improve tools or processes for automated financial data analysis.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports and provide insights to support management decisions.
• Perform ongoing internal controls and financial supervision in line with group standards.

Required profile

• Fluent in Estonian and English.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Experience in finance, accounting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and general accounting principles.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform detailed financial analysis.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial systems.
• Familiarity with databases.
• Use of Business Intelligence (BI) tools for data analysis.
