IT Project Manager – Digital Public Infrastructure

About the role

Nortal is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to work on projects involving Estonia's core digital public infrastructure. The work covers secure platform development and modernization, multi-stakeholder delivery with public and private sector partners, and regulation-driven interoperability (e.g. EU eIDAS). You can work remotely within Estonia, with Tallinn and Tartu offices available.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage software development projects from initial planning to final delivery
• Take ownership of projects and customer accounts, aligning delivery with business goals
• Act as a subject-matter-aware Project Manager, bringing in other Nortal Subject Matter Experts where needed
• Lead project teams from kick-off to delivery and beyond
• Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships, manage expectations and help drive decisions in complex situations
• Oversee project finances, track progress and keep projects on course

Required profile

• 2-7 years of experience in IT project management, delivering software projects in a project-based environment
• Proven experience managing long-term strategic client relationships, including follow-up, extension and cross-sell opportunities
• Excellent communication skills in Estonian and English
• Positive, solution-oriented mindset; previous experience or interest in the domain
• Public sector client or tender process experience is an advantage
